Full-Time | $42.00/Hour | Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program
Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
Alternating Saturdays | 5:30 AM–1:00 PM

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Opioid Treatment Program, you will play a critical role in providing evidence-based Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services, including methadone, Subutex, and Suboxone support. This position allows you to combine clinical expertise, compassion, and patient education to help individuals achieve recovery goals in a structured and supportive environment.
This is meaningful work for an RN who is passionate about supporting individuals affected by substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care and support within an Opioid Treatment Program, ensuring safe medication administration, accurate documentation, and compassionate client care.
???? Direct Nursing & Clinical CareSafely administer methadone and other Medication-Assisted Treatment medications.
Assess client conditions and determine readiness for medication dosing.
Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
Ensure medication accountability and safety procedures.
Maintain client confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Collaborate with physicians regarding medical services and physical examinations.
Administer PPD testing.
Respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
Educate clients about methadone treatment and recovery expectations.
Provide orientation regarding program procedures and requirements.
Educate clients on wellness, health, and related medical topics.
Support clients through recovery-focused care.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
Record medications dispensed, client interactions, and telephone communications.
Ensure physician orders and treatment-related documentation are completed properly.
Maintain organized and confidential medical records.
Serve as a medical resource for interdisciplinary staff.
Coordinate with external healthcare and community partners.
Assist with proper medical waste procedures.
Support program operations based on organizational needs.
Participate in required meetings and trainings.

QualificationsRequiredCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.
Minimum of two years of RN experience.
Minimum of two years of experience in human services or related fields.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing substance use and mental health challenges.
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Experience working with diverse populations.
Knowledge of psychiatric and medical conditions and medications.
The RN must:
Follow OSHA, HIPAA, Fire & Safety, and Security regulations.
Maintain compliance with NJDOH-DMHAS, CARF, and NJSAMS standards.
Follow agency policies and procedures.
Accurately document work hours and clinical services.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
