Job Description

Position Summary: Responsible for advanced functions within Gowan’s Customer Service department. This role requires advanced problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail. The specialist will serve as a key resource for Gowan's product managers, sales professionals, and internal Supply Chain and Finance functions, while providing backup to other Customer Service Representatives as needed.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Enter all budget prices, discounts, and rebates for GUSA and GAC.
  • Maintain and update actual prices, discounts, and rebates for GUSA and GAC.
  • Input and manage budget and actual transfer prices for inter-company transactions.
  • Set up special programs in E1 for sales processing and communicate updates to the customer service group.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to improve processes and retrieveaccurateinformation.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to manage day-to-day changes in pricing, programs, and corrections.
  • Create adjusting entries as needed, in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Code TAP invoices for storage and handling for accounting purposes.
  • Distribute andmaintainprice update sheets for Product Managers.
  • Produce andmaintaindistributor price sheets.
  • Assistaccounting in closing and opening monthly periods,accruingrebates, and other procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve order problems.
  • Provide backup order entry as needed.
  • Offer support to other departmental needs asrequired.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Gowan’s E1 computer system and other business software.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous urgent tasks.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with a wide range of people.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and motivated.
  • Ability to multitask and perform well during peak periods.
  • Positiveattitude toward learning and improving processes.
  • Ability toassistand lead the department with guidance from the manager.

Required Professional Qualifications and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Managementpreferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiencyin a second language is an advantage.
  • Ability to perform some analyticallogisticsduties.
  • Successful candidates willbe requiredto show proof that they can legally work in the United States.

Job Expectations / Working Conditions:

  • Able to work regular office hours.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Capable of working for extended periods at a computer workstation.
  • Travel is infrequentbutmay berequired.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to work for prolonged periods in front of a computer.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Minimal travelrequired, butmay be needed for occasional work-related purposes.
