What You’ll Do

As a Mechanic at Kenco Hydraulics, you’ll play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and equipment. Your work will directly impact our customers’ operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic system issues

  • Repair and maintain on-road, off-road, and industrial equipment

  • Service hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, and related components

  • Rebuild and refurbish equipment to restore full functionality

  • Perform welding and fabrication as needed

  • Complete accurate service and repair documentation

  • Follow all safety procedures and uphold Kenco’s safety standards

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

  • Participate in training programs and continuous learning opportunities

  • Provide professional, high-quality service to customers

  • Assist with additional duties as assigned

This role may include overtime, occasional travel, and on-call work.


What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who is both technically skilled and motivated to deliver excellent service.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with hydraulic, mechanical, and compressed air systems

  • Experience with hydraulic plumbing, welding, and fabrication

  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical schematics

  • Willingness to learn and operate shop equipment (lathes, mills, presses, etc.)

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Basic computer skills (or willingness to learn)

  • Clean driving record

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting

  • Full range of motion and ability to push/pull as needed
