Schedule: Night Shift | 4 x 10-hour shifts | 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician (SEIU) to join our pharmacy team for an exciting travel assignment. This position is ideal for a technician with strong hospital pharmacy experience and expertise in sterile compounding.

Working under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, you will perform essential pharmacy operations including medication preparation, inventory management, and IV compounding while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.

RequirementsRequired:

• Minimum 5 years of recent hospital pharmacy experience

• Sterile compounding experience

• Current California Pharmacy Technician License

• Strong knowledge of medication preparation and distribution processes

Preferred:

• Associate's or Technical Degree

• Pharmacy Technician Board Certification (PTCB)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package medications accurately under pharmacist supervision.

• Pull medications from stock and match medications to pharmacist-generated labels.

• Fill and deliver unit-dose medication cassettes to nursing units.

• Maintain medication inventory, including restocking and rotating stock.

• Remove expired medications and maintain floor stock in nursing units.

• Prepare IV medications in accordance with applicable regulations and standards.

• Process wholesaler and supplier orders, returns, and back orders.

• Assist with inventory management and other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.
