Per Diem Front Receptionist- Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital

• Tuesday and Wednesday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Sunday 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Holiday and Vacation coverage

• Operate telephone system, route calls, convey messages and provide information to callers as appropriate and as authorized
• Maintain neat and organized workstations, inventory control of office supplies
• Greet and direct visitors, update Excel visitor log

• Complies with all hospital safety and health regulations including emergency management procedure and annual safety re-orientation
• Treats patients, their families, visitors and other staff members with respect, courtesy and compassion
• Provide Holiday and Vacation coverage for receptionist staff on an as needed basis, assuring seven day per week coverage

• Ability to communicate in an efficient and pleasant manner
• Must be able to maintain composure under extremely busy circumstances
• Basic computer skills
• Previous receptionist experience preferred
