NABRICO Marine Products is seeking a detail-oriented, safety-driven Health & Safety Support team member to help foster and maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment at our Ashland City, Tennessee manufacturing facility. This role partners with production leadership and employees to support safety initiatives, ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and promote a culture where safety is a shared responsibility.

The ideal candidate is passionate about workplace safety, enjoys interacting with employees, and is committed to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
  • Support the day-to-day administration of health and safety programs throughout the facility.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and workplace observations to identify potential hazards.
  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-up.
  • Help coordinate new hire safety orientation and ongoing employee safety training.
  • Monitor compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and safe work practices.
  • Promote proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and reinforce safe work behaviors.
  • Maintain safety records, training documentation, inspection reports, and regulatory files.
  • Assist with emergency preparedness activities, drills, and safety committee initiatives.
  • Partner with supervisors and employees to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in workplace safety.
  • Support environmental, health, and safety projects as assigned.
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial safety, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety regulations preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety concerns.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to walk throughout the manufacturing facility for extended periods.
  • Frequent standing, bending, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in both office and production environments.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering production areas.
Schedule
  • 3rd Shift – Full-Time
  • Monday through Friday
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.
