About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. As a key member of our Food and Nutrition Services department, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our residents and patients. Your attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work well under pressure will make a significant impact on our residents' overall satisfaction and health.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, in accordance with our dietary requirements and resident preferences
Ensure that food is prepared and presented in a clean, safe, and appealing manner
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Collaborate with our dietary team to plan and prepare special meals and events
Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed
Assist with menu planning and food presentation
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
0 years of experience in a dietary or culinary setting
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
