Summary:

• 
  To greet entering/departing guest and to accurately compute all cash handling functions in the restaurant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  To greet guests that enter the restaurant, thank and invite guests back upon departure
• 
  To have knowledge of all casino and/or restaurant locations
• 
  To accurately compute all guest check totals and provide correct change
• 
  To accurately complete cash handling functions
• 
  To have working knowledge of the Point of Sales system
• 
  Keep Cashier’s workstation clean and organized as well as the entire restaurant
• 
  Update menu board as needed
• 
  Make all necessary announcements over public address system clearly and professionally
• 
  To attend all meetings and/or training sessions (All meetings and training sessions are considered mandatory)
• 
  To perform other duties as assigned

Light Work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly.

General Qualifications:

• 
  Practice good hygiene at all times
• 
  Good interpersonal skills
• 
  Ability to work at a fast pace in a confined area
• 
  Must have excellent mathematical skills

Education and/or Experience:

• 
  GED or High School Diploma required
• 
  Prefer one to three years of previous cash handling experience
• 
  Prefer one to three years of previous host/hostess experience
