Nat-Su Healthcare is looking for for a weekend Support Staff Supervisor for our Men's Warrior Spirit program. The Support Staff Supervisor management position overseeing the support staff and recovery coaches at their respective facilities. They act as a liaison between support staff and the program manager and director. The work environment is a constantly changing, professional, and challenge driven treatment program for those struggling with substance abuse disorders. Coordination and communication with all teams i.e., administration, clinical, medical, etc., is paramount to ensure all functions operate smoothly and effectively.

Job Description & Required Qualifications

Responsibilities  

  • Oversee all support staff and recovery coaches. 
  • Coordinate with NAT-SU health clinic for appointments and scheduling.  
  • Assist in the interview process for hiring support staff.  
  • Coordinate directly with clinical director and program director.  
  • Advocate for clients as well as staff and keeps a healthy balance supporting both.  
  • Ensure staff tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner.   

Education and Experience  

  • CPSS – Certified Peer Support Specialist (preferred)
  • Recovery Coach Certified (preferred)
  • OSHA Certified (preferred)
  • Experience in the recovery field (2 years preferred).  
  • Knowledgeable in PC skills, electronic records systems, and day-to-day office tasks.  
  • Management experience (2 years preferred). 

Key Skills and Competencies  

  • Task prioritizing: Able to prioritize tasks and complete them in proper order.  
  • Effective communication: A large part of this role is effective communication. Being able to productively give and receive feedback, hear out your coworkers, your team, and your management.   
  • Computer and technology skills: Computer literate and capable of managing electronic files, using databases, creating spreadsheets, and preparing presentations.  
  • Effective management: Able to productively course correct when needed, lead a team of support staff and use a trauma-informed care approach with clients.  

Physical Requirements  

To comply with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 the essential physical, mental, and environmental requirements. Candidate must be able to successfully perform all functions of their job with minimal supervision.
