Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, including food preparation and sanitation
Supervise and train dietary staff, ensuring compliance with state regulations and community's policy
Conduct routine inspections and audits to maintain high standards of quality and safety
Implement policies and procedures to ensure effective department operations
Maintain accurate records and reports on food service operations, inventory, and quality control
Manage the dietary budget and ensure efficient use of resources
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience as a Dietary or Kitchen Manager, or related field
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
