Industrial Maintenance Technician ($30-$37/hr)
Job Description
Single Source Plus is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role is perfect for an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys solving mechanical and electrical problems, reducing equipment downtime, and making a measurable impact on production operations.
We are looking for a technician with strong industrial maintenance experience who can troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and help improve equipment reliability. Experience in manufacturing, food processing, distribution, packaging, automotive, textile, or similar industrial environments is highly valued.
Commercial laundry experience is a plus but not required. We will train the right industrial maintenance professional on our equipment and processes.

Black Seal Boiler License is a plus and may qualify for additional compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime
- Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes
- Inspect machinery and recommend corrective actions before failures occur
- Repair and replace bearings, chains, belts, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, and other components
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance records
- Assist with installation, relocation, and startup of production equipment
- Support facility maintenance and housekeeping efforts throughout the plant
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Work closely with production and management teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
RequirementsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, machine maintenance, millwright, or similar experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and solve equipment problems efficiently
- Understanding of safe maintenance practices and Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Motor controls
- Sensors and proximity switches
- Conveyors
- Bearings, belts, chains, motors, and gearboxes
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Pumps and valves
- Steam systems and boilers
- Reading mechanical and electrical schematics
- CMMS and preventive maintenance programs
- Commercial or industrial laundry equipment
