Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) to promote independence and dignity
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed
- Transport clients to appointments, community activities, and social outings
- Support behavioral health needs using positive behavior support strategies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Prior experience as a DSP, caregiver, CNA, or in a related human services role preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
