Able Electric LLC is looking for a skilled Equipment Operator to join our growing team in Lukeville, AZ. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in powering projects forward — operating heavy machinery and supporting electrical and construction operations in the field. Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, trenchers, and skid steers on job sites
- Perform trenching and excavation work to support electrical conduit and utility installation
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on all assigned equipment
- Follow site safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company procedures at all times
- Coordinate with crew leads, electricians, and site supervisors to ensure efficient project workflow
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout all phases of a project
- Proven experience operating heavy construction or utility equipment in a field setting
- Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus
- Ability to read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and project layouts
- Knowledge of trenching, excavation, and underground utility safety standards
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to on-site safety and compliance
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme Arizona heat
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented work ethic
