Lead Teacher for 3 Year Old Classroom
Job Description
About This Role
A New Day Child Development Center is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our Texas Rising Star 4-Star early childhood program. We are looking for a passionate educator who believes in creating meaningful learning experiences, building strong relationships with children and families, and preparing children for a successful transition to kindergarten.
Why Join Our Team?
At A New Day Child Development Center, we believe our teachers are the heart of our program. We provide a supportive, collaborative work environment where educators are valued, respected, and encouraged to grow professionally. As a Texas Rising Star 4-Star program, we are committed to excellence and providing children with the highest quality early childhood education.
If you are a caring, dependable, and passionate educator who is ready to make a difference in the lives of young children, we'd love to hear from you!
JOB LOCATION:
Please Consider Our Location Before Applying
We are looking for a dedicated educator who is interested in finding a long-term home with our school and becoming a valued part of our team.
Before submitting your resume, we kindly ask that you look up our school’s location at 4828 Bee Creek Road, Spicewood TX and consider the daily commute, including traffic during peak morning and afternoon hours.
We want to be respectful of your time as well as ours and make sure the commute is something that will be comfortable and manageable for you long-term.
Our goal is to find the right person for the position who is excited to grow with our school for years to come. We would hate to find a wonderful teacher, only for the distance or daily traffic to make the position unsustainable.
Again, please make sure you are comfortable with commuting to our school's location before applying.

About Us
A New Day Child Development Center blends high-quality education with genuine care and strong family connections. Unlike many childcare options, A New Day holds a Texas Rising Star 4-Star accreditation - the highest rating available.
The center also places a strong emphasis on character development, teaching honesty, compassion, and respect alongside academics. We believe preparing children for life is just as important as preparing them for school.
At A New Day Child Development Center, our philosophy is simple yet profound: early childhood education lays the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Every child is seen as capable, curious, and unique - and our role is to nurture that natural love of discovery.
Our teaching approach combines developmentally appropriate practice with intentional instruction, ensuring children grow in every area:
- Whole-child focus: Supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
- Balanced learning: A thoughtful mix of play-based experiences and structured activities helps children build independence while gaining essential school-readiness skills.
- Character development: Values such as compassion, honesty, and respect are woven into daily routines, making character-building as important as academics.
- Family partnerships: Recognizing parents as a child’s first teachers, we foster strong connections with families to create consistency between home and school.
Aligned with Texas Rising Star standards, A New Day offers small teacher-to-child ratios and intentional curriculum planning. The center uses the Teaching Strategies Curriculum, one of the top early childhood programs in the country. This framework emphasizes developmentally appropriate milestones and allows teachers to understand and support each child’s individual needs.
