Nick & Mike Bar and Grill – Charlotte, NC
Nick & Mike Bar and Grill is hiring experienced Line Cooks to join our fast-paced, high-volume kitchen in Charlotte. Our kitchen is compact but produces a large volume of food, so we’re looking for cooks who are efficient, organized, and take pride in consistency and cleanliness.
What You’ll Do- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and ticket times
- Work efficiently in a small kitchen with high output expectations
- Maintain clean, organized workstations during and after service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Communicate clearly with teammates and management during busy shifts
- Assist with prep, stocking, and cleaning as assigned
- Handle food safely and properly at all times
- Previous line cook experience preferred (high-volume experience a plus)
- Ability to work quickly, cleanly, and under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Team player with a good attitude and solid work ethic
- Ability to follow direction and recipes exactly
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Flexible scheduling
- Nights, weekends, and holidays required
