Assistant Director of Operations
Job Description
Location: Position is based in Forest Hills, PA with extensive local travel throughout Community LIFE service area (mileage reimbursed). See listing of all locations here
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in health administration, public health, business administration or other relevant discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
Required Experience: Minimum of seven years’ experience in health care setting, preferably as an effective team member in a Program for All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) model. Minimum of five years of supervisory experience is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to assess, plan care for and provide service to frail elders as well as the ability to manage people, processes, and equipment in multiple locations in a highly regulated health care environment.
- Strong leadership and training skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills include the ability to interpret regulations, write plans and track progress.
- Knowledge of needs of elderly population in various disciplines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Working knowledge of utilization review, quality assurance, and managed health care concepts.
- Working knowledge of local health care and geriatric service networks.
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge and ability to successfully run the operations for the PACE program at Community LIFE
- Ability to be dependable, resourceful, and flexible.
- Ability to work effectively with staff, participants, providers, and referral sources.
- Interest in geriatrics and community-based programming.
- Ability to appreciate and enjoy working with elderly individuals.
Required Certifications/Licensing: Valid PA Driver’s License. Benefits:
