Nocturnist APP

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our healthcare team as a Nocturnist Advanced Practice Provider (APP) on the coast of North Carolina. This critical night-shift role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care and collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities of a Nocturnist APP

• Provide high-quality patient care during night shifts, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as suturing, splinting, and managing wound care.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adapting care plans as necessary.
• Document patient interactions thoroughly and accurately in electronic health records.

Schedule and Shift Details

This is a full-time, night-shift position with 7-on/7-off schedule.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospitalist or nocturnist setting preferred.
• Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) in North Carolina (NC)
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
• Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
