PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU RN to join a dynamic post-anesthesia care team. This role is ideal for a nurse who excels in monitoring patients recovering from surgery and ensuring safe, smooth transitions post-procedure.

Compensation: Competitive pay ranging from $34$48/hour (based on experience) + shift differentials and potential overtime

What Youll Do:
Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia
Perform post-operative assessments and manage pain control
Respond to airway, cardiac, and respiratory changes
Administer medications and IV therapies
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
Educate patients and families on recovery expectations

What You Need:
Active RN license (Louisiana or compact state)
1+ year of PACU, ICU, or ER experience
BLS & ACLS required (PALS preferred)
Strong critical thinking and monitoring skills
