Group Home Caregiver 5:00am-9:00am

The ideal candidate will work in a group home setting and be able to assist clients who need total care care as well as the ability to complete daily medication passes, housekeeping tasks, and preparation of meals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: Prefer at least TWO years experience with the TBI population or rehabilitation.
• Current valid driver's license with no more than (3) points
• Must be able to easily, with minimal assistance, safely transfer total assist patients to and from bed/wheelchair/vehicle/toilet
  
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Negative TB test result needed prior to hire
  

What You Will Do:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living skills including bathing, dressing, grooming. Supervise, and/or assist clients in accordance with the person-centered plan, including personal care, recreation, and reinforcement of individual rehabilitation objectives.
• Safely transfer multiple patients to and from bed/wheelchair/vehicle/toilet.
• Administer and document medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and health care professionals.
• Chart each client’s daily documentation log including goals, completed tasks, and behavior before the end of your shift.
  
• Moderate housekeeping/cleaning duties are assigned daily.
• Prepare and/or serve meals according to a set menu and adherence to prescribed diets.

Job Type: Part-time

Starts at $17.00/hr

Schedule:

• 5:00 am to 9:00 am weekdays
• Rotating weekends and alternate holidays are available
