Responsibilities:
- Perform daily job site and public safety inspections to identify workplace hazards; implement preventive measures to eliminate accidents.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and “toolbox” meetings to train employees in the correct use of personal contractor and employee compliance with all applicable OSHA policies and regulations.
- Wrote and maintained daily safety reports and logs.
- Investigate and report accidents.
- Maintain equipment certification records and inspection records.
Specific Qualifications:
- 62 Hour Supervisory SST Card (Site Safety Training Card)
- Construction Site Fire Safety Managers License
Qualified Person for Site Safety (QPSS) - minimum requirements:
- Supervisory SST Card
- 40 Hour Site Safety
- 32 Supported Scaffold
- 32 Suspended Scaffold
