Scale Attendant - Post Collections Operations

Mid Valley Disposal is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Scale Attendant to join our MRF/Compost Operations team. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our facility running efficiently by assisting customers, processing truck transactions, and supporting daily operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Welcome customers, vendors, and commercial drivers
• Accurately weigh inbound and outbound trucks
• Process payments and issue scale tickets
• Answer questions about accepted materials and facility procedures
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Communicate with operations staff to keep traffic flowing safely
• Help maintain an organized and professional scale house

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer service or administrative experience
• Cash handling or cashier experience
• Data entry experience
• Experience in transportation, trucking, recycling, construction, or waste industries is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
