Blockage Team Lead
Location: Pinehurst
NC FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay: $25–$30/hr
Job Summary Leads blockage resolution work including conduit clearing, obstruction identification, fiber restoration, and pathway preparation.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead blockage and troubleshooting activities
• Diagnose conduit or pathway issues
• Perform trenching and digging as needed
• Splicing of fiber
• Floating/blowing fiber within existing infrastructure
• Use fiber diagnostic and testing tools
• Guide assistant technician
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Understanding and operation of fiber blowing/floating equipment
Requirements
• OSP / underground fiber experience
• Fiber splicing experience
• Fiber troubleshooting capability
• Basic equipment knowledge (OTDR, VFL, PON meter, etc.)
• Ability to perform trenching/digging
• Valid driver’s license
