Summit Malibu, a luxurious, prominent 6-bed detox/residential treatment facility is looking for an overnight EMT for 2-4 shifts per week. Treatment experience and working overnight shifts are mandatory. Kipu experience is preferred. Compensation starts at $22/hour.
Mandatory qualifications: Active EMT license, BLS certification or CPR/First-Aid
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Observes and monitors while all medications are self-administered by clients
- Follow detox protocols, including 30 minute rounds and knowledge of detox meds
- Medication count, management, and destruction.
- COWS/CIWA assessments
- Communicate directly with medical team
- Input doctors orders
- Possible Intakes/Discharge
- Shift report
