RN needed, ( will oversee nursing services provided at Fescum Inc. This includes being involved with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals providing care, verifying, and implementing specific nursing duties for clients according to their Individual Service Plan.

NT this is strickly an office job COVID 19 free

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Abides by all relevant regulations of the DDS particularly with regard to delegating nursing responsibilities to direct care staff and assuring their competency to perform nursing tasks by periodic monitoring

Collect data through direct observation/assessments, interviews, and record review and perform interim focused assessments addressing common reoccurring chronic health needs of the Person

Assist the RN in the collection of data to be used in the 30 days assessment and in the implementation of the HMCP

Administers medications and treatments and participates in nursing care management through delegation and directing nursing interventions that may be performed by the TME

Check monthly MARs and ensure three-way verification process match between the MAR, PMOF and Pharmacy label

Verify that all Persons monthly routine medications and other medications out of monthly cycle match the three-way verification medication check process (PMOF, MAR, and Pharmacy label)

Address all assigned issues on MCIS within allocated timeframe

Performing health checks (see form) on a regular basis (bi-weekly, monthly, etc., as determined by the individual's team)

Writing, revising, and updating the Health Passport and Nurses Notes and schedule of all Doctors appointment and follow-up

File all medical records according to ER discharge instructions and completing Client Health Records prior to annual physicals; with exception of Nursing Quarterlies and HCMP

Reviewing medical books every month and ensure all recommendations and follow-up and other medical paperwork (blood work, other lab work, appointment records, MARs, seizure records, etc.) are filed assuring that any corrective plans (e.g. problematic lab work) are communicated to all involved parties (staff, MD, etc.).

Consults with psychiatrists and other health staff in designing appropriate treatment plans for clients

Administers and notes reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications

Arranges further medical attention when necessary. Assists the client in understanding the nature of emotional disturbances and accepting the need for treatment.

Take vital signs of pain and ensures treatments of pain. Documents all patient information on medical charts and follows physician’s written orders.

Maintains patient confidentiality. Maintains accurate records and documentation of patient treatments, immunizations and laboratory results according to standard medical recordkeeping.

Performs administrative assignments such as filing, answering phones, typing, and completing progress notes in the computer system.

Provides courteous, high-quality service to patients and members of the public by personally responding to requests for service or making appropriate referrals.

Advice individuals and direct care staff regarding following prescribed diets and other health care issues

Performs special nursing services as needed (e.g. nail trimming, first aid) or as ordered by a physician (e.g. injections, enemas, dressing changes, etc.).

Provides training to direct care staff (as a group and individually) and administrative staff as needed and requested.

Completes all facility documentation accurately and timely every month or more frequently as needed

Perform other duties as assigned by the RN/and or Agency Director
