Job Description
Hiawatha Care Center is actively hiring a Laundry Aide to support linen services, environmental cleanliness, and resident comfort. The Laundry Aide plays an important role in ensuring clean linens, clothing, and living spaces are properly maintained to support resident care and daily operations. As a Laundry Aide, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while providing quality service to residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
Process linens and laundry as a Laundry Aide
Sort, wash, dry, fold, hang, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
Deliver personal clothing and linens to resident rooms and designated areas
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry department
Assist with housekeeping duties as needed to support a clean and safe environment
Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety protocols
Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns
Support resident comfort and daily facility operations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous laundry, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred
Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures
Ability to lift, carry, bend, stand, and walk throughout the workday
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
