Job Title: A&P Aircraft Mechanic
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $45,000

Job Summary:
11th Hour Service is seeking an experienced A&P Aircraft Mechanic to support helicopter maintenance operations in Buckeye, Arizona. This position plays a critical role in maintaining aircraft readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance for emergency air medical operations.
The A&P Aircraft Mechanic will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft airframe and powerplant systems. The successful candidate must hold a current FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate and have at least two years of experience working as a certified aircraft mechanic.

Responsibilities:
  • Review daily aircraft maintenance and inspection requirements and complete assigned work to maintain aircraft airworthiness.
  • Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair airframe and powerplant systems.
  • Notify the Lead Mechanic when maintenance issues require schedule adjustments, additional personnel, aircraft substitutions, or technical support.
  • Maintain aircraft assigned to the field base and monitor the availability of necessary replacement parts and supplies.
  • Requisition parts and materials needed to complete aircraft repairs.
  • Protect and maintain company aircraft, equipment, tools, parts, and other assets located at the assigned base.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, parts requisitions, inventory records, aircraft log entries, and inspection documentation.
  • Certify that completed maintenance work complies with FAA requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
  • Complete required entries in RAMCO, including work packages, aircraft status sheets, component removals, and component installations.
  • Communicate regularly with the Lead Mechanic, aviation maintenance support personnel, and other appropriate team members.
  • Maintain parts inventory and recommend inventory-level adjustments when needed.
  • Maintain company-provided specialty tools and ensure required calibrations are completed on schedule.
  • Travel between operating bases when required.
  • Work night shifts when aircraft maintenance needs require overnight support.
  • Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • At least two years of aircraft maintenance experience as a certified mechanic.
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical examination and functional capacity assessment.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to pass required drug screening and background screening.
  • Ability to live within one hour or 60 miles of the assigned base, whichever distance is greater.
  • Ability to travel between bases as required.
  • Ability to work a 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule.
  • Ability to work night shifts when maintenance conditions require it.

Mechanics assigned to a roving maintenance team must also have:
  • Sheet metal repair experience and/or avionics troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently, including with limited advance notice during scheduled work rotations.
