Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and organized dietary environment, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and residents.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve meals, including setting up trays, serving food, and clearing tables
Maintain a clean and organized dietary environment, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and work areas
Follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and work assignments with accuracy and attention to detail
Perform routine tasks with frequent interruptions, including working with food items, serving trays, handling soiled dishes, operating dietary equipment, and cleaning work areas
Demonstrate a willingness and ability to work with various other work routines and team members
Maintain a patient and tolerant demeanor, even in high-pressure situations
Requirements:
Ability to work every other weekend
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to understand and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and work assignments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
