The La Crosse Area Family YMCA is seeking a passionate and innovative leader to help address nutrition and food insecurity through meaningful programs, strong community partnerships, and mission-driven leadership. As the full-time Food Access Director, you will play a key role in ensuring individuals and families throughout our community have access to healthy food and resources.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership for YMCA Food Access Programs, including:
- Mobile Market Food Pantry
- USDA Reimbursed Food Programs
- Community Outreach Meal Programs
- Mobile Market Food Pantry
- Build and sustain partnerships with community organizations and stakeholders.
- Oversee program operations, staff leadership, budgeting, and food service activities.
- Collaborate with YMCA Community Outreach teams, including Community Health Workers, School Age Care, Youth Center, Mental Health, and Early Childhood programs.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and increase community impact.
Requirements
- 2+ years of related experience
- Passion for addressing nutrition and food insecurity
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Food program management experience preferred
