Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced, motivated Office Manager / Medical Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in both administrative leadership and hands-on patient care. You'll oversee daily office operations while providing high-quality clinical support to our providers and patients.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support
Greet and prepare patients for exams, record vital signs, and update medical histories.
Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
Manage lab specimen collection and maintain accurate patient records.
Ensure examination rooms are clean, stocked, and organized.
Office Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of the medical office, ensuring efficiency and excellent patient service.
Manage scheduling, patient flow, and office communications.
Handle ordering and inventory of medical and office supplies.
Ensure compliance with office policies, procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in Medical Assisting preferred.
Previous experience in medical office management or healthcare administration strongly preferred.
Proficiency with EMR systems and office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
Strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and work full-time.
