Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming front desk experience
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using dental practice management software
- Verify dental insurance benefits and process claims and billing accurately
- Collect and post patient payments, co-pays, and manage accounts receivable
- Maintain and update accurate patient records and medical histories
- Answer multi-line phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage office correspondence
- Coordinate with dental providers and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Prior experience in a dental or medical administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Curve)
- Knowledge of dental insurance verification, billing, and coding (CDT codes a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy office environment
- General computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; dental administrative training or certification a plus
