Account Manager / Sales
Reports To: Branch Manager / President
Position Summary
The Account Manager / Sales is responsible for developing new business, growing existing client relationships, and delivering workforce solutions that meet client needs. This position focuses on generating revenue, increasing market share, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction while working closely with recruiters to successfully fill open positions.
Essential Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through calls, networking, referrals, email campaigns, and in-person meetings.
- Build and maintain a consistent sales pipeline.
- Conduct client needs assessments and present customized staffing solutions.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and service agreements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and staffing solutions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and revenue goals.
Account Management
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts.
- Build long-term partnerships through regular communication and client visits.
- Conduct business reviews and identify opportunities to expand services.
- Resolve client concerns promptly while maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Monitor account performance, fill rates, and service quality.
- Ensure clients receive timely communication regarding staffing updates.
Client Support
- Partner with recruiting teams to communicate hiring priorities and workforce needs.
- Ensure job orders are accurate and complete before recruiting begins.
- Assist with onboarding processes and client-specific requirements.
- Monitor employee performance and client feedback.
- Maintain regular follow-up with clients after placements.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate client records and sales activities within the CRM/ATS.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and account activity updates.
- Track client visits, calls, meetings, and revenue performance.
- Ensure all contracts and documentation are completed accurately.
- Stay informed on labor market trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, staffing, recruiting, account management, or business development preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings.
