Academic Responsibilities
  • Serve as a core faculty member with responsibility for the supervision, education, evaluation, and mentorship of Family Medicine residents.
  • Provide direct clinical supervision and precepting of residents in outpatient and, when applicable, inpatient settings, ensuring safe, high-quality, evidence-based patient care.
  • Deliver engaging didactic and clinical education through lectures, case-based discussions, chart reviews, and real-time clinical teaching.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback and complete formal resident evaluations to support clinical competency, professional development, and progression through training.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment that encourages clinical curiosity, professionalism, accountability, and lifelong learning.
  • Partner with the Program Director and faculty leadership to support ACGME accreditation requirements, program objectives, and resident board eligibility.
  • Participate in scholarly activity, quality improvement, research, and other academic initiatives that advance the program and promote inquiry at the regional and national levels.
  • Participate in ongoing faculty development to strengthen teaching, leadership, evaluation, and clinical skills.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of the residency program based on resident needs, program outcomes, and evolving standards in Family Medicine education.
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care across the lifespan, including preventive care, acute illness management, chronic disease management, and health maintenance.
  • Deliver evidence-based care consistent with Evara Health’s clinical standards, protocols, quality initiatives, and commitment to serving underserved populations.
  • Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with patients and families throughout the Pinellas County community.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary care team, including behavioral health, dental, pharmacy, care management, and other clinical services to address the whole-person needs of patients.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, thorough, and compliant documentation within the electronic health record.
  • Participate in team-based care, care coordination, population health initiatives, and quality improvement activities designed to improve patient outcomes and access to care.
  • Support organizational goals related to quality, patient safety, access, patient experience, and clinical outcomes.
  • Provide outpatient resident supervision during assigned after-hours telephone call, offering clinical guidance and support to residents as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate clinical productivity and availability while balancing patient care responsibilities with academic and residency program obligations.


This role will be based at Evara Health's Countryside location at 26286 HWY. 19 N. Suite B, Clearwater, FL 33756. This newly developed space is designed to expand our residency program where your expertise, mentorship, and passion for teaching can make a lasting impact.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Graduation from Accredited Medical School (MD, or DO)
  • Eligible to obtain Active/Clear Florida Medical License
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • 3-Years of experience in Graduate Medical Education, preferred
