Venue Utility Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Venue Utility Worker to support day-of event operations at our venue. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring seamless guest experiences and smooth coordination across departments, from pre-event setup to post-event breakdown and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Light and maintain outdoor fireplaces before and during events.
  
  

• Coordinate with valet companies to ensure proper setup based on ceremony location and guest flow.
  
  

• Assist with guest transportation between ceremony sites and the main building when necessary.
  
  

• Support service staff with ceremony setup (when needed), including moving tables, chairs, and propane tanks.
  
  

• Monitor guest activity during cocktail hour and receptions, particularly around bar areas
  
  

• Communicate with bus drivers and direct them to the appropriate location for guest pickup.
  
  

• Assist with collecting and organizing couples' personal décor at the end of the event.

  
  

• Pick up McDonald's orders for the even
  
  

• Perform end-of-night lock-up duties, ensuring the venue is secure.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and coordination skills.
  
  

• Able to lift and move event equipment such as tables, chairs, and propane tanks.
  
  

• Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods.
  
  

• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  
  

• A team player with a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
  
  

• Previous event or venue experience is a plus, but not required.
