College Counseling Office Coordinator
Job Description
The Kiski School, a co-educational boarding and day school in Saltsburg, PA, is seeking a skilled Office Coordinator to support the Office of College Counseling (CCO).
The CCO Coordinator is the first point of contact with students, families, and admission representatives, and plays a critical role in supporting the work of the two full-time college counselors.
The ideal candidate will bring a sense of humor, warmth, and enthusiasm for working with students as well as excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Duties and responsibilities include:
%CF; Assist the Counselors in managing the college application process for Kiski students
%CF; Schedule/manage college rep visits and manage office calendars and CCO bulletin boards
%CF; Manage correspondence and communications for the College Counseling office
%CF; Maintain student records and data in the college application process, including transcripts, test scores, and application materials
%CF; Organize and send bi-weekly parent electronic newsletters
%CF; Assist with aspects of on-campus testing, including proctoring SAT tests throughout the year
%CF; Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the Counselors
%CF; Collaborate with other school departments as needed
%CF; Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Director
%CF; This is an in-person position that will require occasional weekend/evening work
The ideal candidate for the position will possess the following qualities and qualifications:
%CF; Bachelor's degree preferred
%CF; Previous experience in an administrative or executive assistant role preferred
%CF; Strong organizational abilities: time-management, planning, and prioritization skills
%CF; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
%CF; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs and Google Forms, Social Media platforms. Familiarity with Scoir and Blackbaud is a plus.
