Equipment Delivery Driver - Norfolk, NE

As an equipment delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering great customer service by the delivery of equipment products to customers and our construction crews.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for prompt equipment delivery.
  • Performs daily truck inspections with documentation.
  • Filling out DOT and maintenance logs.
  • Maintains and services delivery truck to make sure it is in proper working order.
  • Follows policies and procedures of HACCP program.
  • Helps with the loading of equipment for customers/construction crews.
  • Communicates customer complaints to supervisor.
  • Provides excellent customer service and customer relations.
  • Performs general maintenance of buildings, equipment and vehicles, including necessary documentation.
  • Maintains professional appearance and cleanliness of trucks.
  • Assists in ensuring that paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
  • Comply with current company credit policies.
  • Maintains and promotes a safe work environment.
  • Assists other divisions and locations as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

There are no supervisory roles with the position


REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • 1 to 3 years driving experience.
  • Class A CDL and training in OSHA and DOT requirements.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.
  • Good basic mechanical skills.
  • Works in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority. Promotes a work environment that is safe for everyone.
