Overview
We're hiring Special Education Teachers for Elementary, Middle School, and High School positions with a school district in the greater Phoenix area. Several openings are available now, with a start date before the upcoming school year begins.
You'll know the caseload, setting, and pay range upfront — before any details are shared with the district, and nothing moves forward without your go-ahead.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with Arizona and federal special education law
- Support students in [self-contained / resource / co-teach / multi-categorical] settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual goals
- Manage a caseload of approximately [insert number, may vary by level] students
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation and timelines
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona teaching certification with Special Education endorsement (required)
- Experience with elementary, middle, or high school special education (any level welcome — tell us your preference)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Reliable transportation — commute is outside the immediate Phoenix core
- Available to start by 07.27.26
