We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support vendor and subcontractor activity, coordinate project needs, and help keep sourcing decisions moving. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, takes initiative, communicates well with others, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, subcontractors, and vendors to support project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Review new job requests by gathering site details, budgets, deadlines, contacts, and supporting documentation needed to move work forward.
  • Coordinate pricing, schedules, compliance documentation, purchase orders, and projec timelines with subcontractors, site contacts, and internal teams.
  • Assist with negotiating subcontractor pricing, scope, and terms to support successful project outcomes.
  • Partner subcontractors to develop competitive bids, clarify project scope, and compare proposals to help identify the best fit for each project.
  • Support the identification, qualification, and onboarding of subcontractors within assigned territories based on capability, responsiveness, and project needs.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, quality, and compliance, addressing issues and escalating concerns as needed to help keep projects on track.
  • Maintain accurate records in client portals and internal systems, including contracts, invoices, completion documentation, and performance data.
  • Work closely with Sourcing, Project Management, and other internal teams to resolve issues, coordinate resources, and support successful project execution.

  • Ability to take initiative, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to gather information, evaluate options, and make practical recommendations.
  • Comfortable managing shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confidence communicating with vendors and subcontractors to support project needs and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Proficiency using business systems and documentation to support efficient project coordination.
Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a support, purchasing, sourcing, construction, or project coordination role.
  • Basic knowledge of construction or project management practices.
  • Commercial roofing experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; NetSuite experience is a plus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday serving as primary work week. As required to support the needs of the business additional hours may be required. Employee may be eligible to participate in a hybrid work environment with proven track record. This role requires up to 30% travel.

Expected Salary Range

The expected salary range offered for this position is $62,900-$91,330 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on various factors including but not limited to, experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary bonus or commissions.
