Housekeeper- Vue Luxury Apartments

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeper for The Vue Luxury Apartments downtown Indianapolis!

Must be able to provide "white-glove" service to residents!

$20.50/hour

**Job Summary:**
The Housekeeper at Vue contributes to property cleanliness, enhancing the resident experience by performing various cleaning tasks for indoor and some exterior spaces. They play a key role in preparing apartments for occupancy and maintaining curb appeal.

**Responsibilities:**
- Accept daily and weekly assignments from supervisor.
- Clean property offices, bathrooms, kitchen, windows, and all other common areas.
- Perform “trash-outs” of recently vacated units.
- Conduct final cleaning of turned units to high standards.
- Operate modern cleaning equipment efficiently.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report when additional supplies are needed.
- Use cleaning supplies appropriately.
- Prioritize resident experience through high-quality work.
- Perform tasks like cleaning upholstered furniture, trash removal, and deep cleaning when necessary.
- Report any apartment issues discovered during cleaning duties.
- Execute other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- 1 or more years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and interpret basic instructions.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division by 10s & 100s).
- Ability to follow written or oral instructions and solve problems in standard situations.
- Basic computer skills.

**Physical Demands:**
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands, stoop, kneel, etc.
- Lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Ability to use various cleaning equipment.
- Occasionally talk or hear.
- Occasionally lift 25 pounds or more with assistance.
- Rarely sit, climb, balance, or lift over 100 pounds.

**Work Environment:**
- Work in a moderately noisy environment.
- Primarily indoors throughout the year.
- Some exposure to outdoor weather conditions during work duties.
- Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and airborne particles.
- Rare exposure to high places, hazardous chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibration. No radiation or explosives risk.
