Job Description
A growing marine and industrial service company is expanding our Service Department and looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Service Technicians. Whether you're an experienced technician, a mechanic from another industry, or someone with strong mechanical aptitude looking to build a career, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
As a Service Technician, you'll help install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a variety of marine and industrial equipment. You'll work alongside experienced technicians both locally and at customer locations throughout the region and occasionally out of state.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in people who enjoy working with their hands, solving problems, and learning new skills.
Experience in any of the following areas is helpful but not required:
- Mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Industrial equipment and machinery
- Diesel or gasoline engines
- Electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Pumps, motors, and rotating equipment
- Marine systems and vessel equipment
We provide hands-on training for specialized marine and industrial systems for candidates who are eager to learn and grow.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid TWIC card (or ability to obtain one)
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Willingness to travel when needed
- Must pass a physical and drug screening and background check.
