As a Fabricator, you will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by fabricating, repairing, modifying, and maintaining metal components, equipment, and tooling used throughout the plant.
Responsibilities may include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Welding, cutting, grinding, and fitting metal components
- Fabricating parts and assemblies to precise measurements
- Repairing and modifying production equipment and tooling
- Using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely
- Maintaining quality standards and ensuring accuracy of work
- Supporting preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams
- Following all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Experience with fabrication, welding, machining, or industrial maintenance.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using fabrication tools and shop equipment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
Bonus Skills:
- MIG, TIG, or Stick Welding experience.
- CNC machining experience.
- Metal fabrication certifications.
- Industrial plant or manufacturing experience.
