Job Summary

The job of Cafeteria Assistant I is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the food service activities at assigned location with specific responsibilities for providing food-related duties in a cooperative, sanitary, safe, and nutritious manner including, but not limited to, quantity preparation, quality set up of serving areas, sales, clean-up, stocking, computer entry, and customer service; and complying with mandated health requirements. This job reports to Cafeteria Manager.

Requirements/ Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Food Handlers/ServSafe Certificate
• Strength and Agility Test
• Tuberculosis Clearance
• Criminal Background Clearance
• Mandated Reporter Training (within the first 6 weeks of employment)
