West Janisch Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate and clinically strong Treatment Nurse (LVN or RN) to join our skilled nursing team. This is a highly important role focused on wound care, skin integrity, healing, and prevention, helping improve quality outcomes and resident well-being every day.

What You’ll Do
Perform daily skin assessments and administer prescribed treatments
Provide wound care and preventive skin integrity interventions
Monitor wounds and resident progress while communicating updates to physicians and families
Accurately document treatments, observations, and progress notes
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team on treatment plans
Support infection prevention and skin integrity initiatives
Educate staff on wound prevention, pressure injury prevention, and treatment protocols
Ensure compliance with all clinical documentation and regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For
Current Texas LVN or RN license in good standing
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented approach
Wound care experience preferred (certification is a plus but not required)
Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced healthcare environment
