Social Worker - Leave Replacement: September 2026 - January 2027

Celebrate the Children School is pleased to announce that we have an opening for a full-time, leave replacement, School Social Worker for the 2026-2027 School Year. This assignment has the potential for extension based on organizational needs. Celebrate the Children is a well-respected, non-profit, state-approved private school for children with alternative learning styles that has been providing quality education services to the community for over twenty years. At Celebrate the Children our School Social Workers are surrounded by staff who are caring, compassionate, and dedicated to our program philosophy.


Requirements for Social Worker Include:

  • Master of Social Work

  • DOE Standard Certification required

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with the special needs population

  • DIR experience is preferred but not required

  • Bilingual strongly preferred but not required

A salary range is provided in accordance with New Jersey pay transparency laws. Final salary is determined using a structured salary grid, taking into account years of relevant experience and educational qualifications, and is subject to the maximum limits established by the New Jersey Department of Education and the discretion of the Board of Directors. Temporary positions are paid at an hourly rate. The salary provided is for a 10-month contracted position
