Crate Builder/Packer

We’re looking for a hands-on Crate Builder / Packer to join our 1st OR 2nd shift operations team. This role is responsible for building custom wooden crates and safely packing materials using detailed plans, tools, and established procedures. If you enjoy working with your hands, following build plans, and being part of a fast-paced production environment, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• 1st shift: 7am - 3pm OR 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm
• Build wooden crates using production plans and crate-building software
• Pack and secure materials using foam, bracing, strapping, and other protective materials
• Measure and prepare materials to ensure safe and accurate packaging
• Use hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment
• Complete required paperwork and production documentation
• Perform basic equipment checks and minor maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Assist with training new team members as needed
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE

What We’re Looking For

• Experience using hand and power tools
• Woodworking or crate-building experience preferred
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic math
• Comfortable standing and working on concrete floors for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Must understand and speak English
• Forklift or industrial equipment experience is a plus

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required

Work Environment

• Indoor manufacturing setting
• Loud environment at times
• Exposure to moving equipment and standard industrial hazards
