JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION TITLE: Casino Barback POSITION#: 223237

DEPARTMENT: Beverage - Casino

DIVISION: Food and Beverage

REPORTS TO: Casino Bartender

POSITION SUMMARY:

A physically demanding job. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

TASKS:

1. Keep all bars properly stocked.

2. Maintain the highest standards of sanitation behind all the bars at all times.

3. Relieve bartender when bartender goes on breaks.

4. Serve and make change for guests as needed.

5. Other tasks as requested by management.

EDUCATION OR SKILLS REQUIRED:

High School diploma or GED. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to move and/or lift up to 50 lbs.

The following activities are normally required to perform these functions: Stand, walk, bend, reach, read, write, eye to hand coordination, depth perception, effective verbal communication, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills.

HAZARDS:

Include, but are not limited to: back strain, high noise levels, exposure to cigarette smoke, crowds.
