Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for oncology patients in an outpatient/clinic setting, following established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines; apply critical thinking and independent judgment
- Prepare patients, rooms, and equipment for procedures; assist physicians with minor procedures; perform additional procedures as directed
- Develop and implement patient care plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions to achieve outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, healing, and patient-centered care; provide education to patients and families
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care; delegate and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; no on-call requirements

Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of practice (California)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor; Oncology-specific certification (ONC/ONCC-CHIM) required; Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification or active membership required
- Experience: 2–3 years of recent oncology experience
- Education: BSN preferred
- Technology: EPIC electronic medical record experience
- Additional: Ability to work in outpatient/clinic settings within a hospital system; day shift with rotating schedule; must be able to work 4x10s
