Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary:
The Retail Sales Associate plays a very important role. This position is essential to greet and engage with all guests,
as you are a very important impression of the business. Below are the fundamental areas that each Retail Sales
Associate must perform on a daily basis to ensure positive retail operations.
%CF; Inform customers about sales, promotions, and upcoming events
%CF; Build guest relationships through excellent customer service and honest recommendations
%CF; Effectively process transactions through Gift Shop POS system
%CF; Stock and merchandise sales floor as directed
%CF; Process incoming merchandise as directed
%CF; Assist in maintaining organization and cleanliness of back stock room and the sales floor
%CF; Enthusiasm to work during peak business hours including weekends and holidays
%CF; Help guests navigate the Coastal property when needed
%CF; Other related duties as directed by management

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

%CF; Must have solid communication and interpersonal skills
%CF; Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate with guests, peers, and management
%CF; Ability to multitask while being attentive to guests and remaining flexible to the needs of the
business
%CF; Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
%CF; Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
%CF; Ability to process cash and credit card transactions
%CF; Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic attitude with a genuine desire to provide
outstanding service
%CF; Must be able to adapt in an open air concept to seasonal weather
conditions
%CF; Previous retail experience or similar experience on the sales floor a
plus
%CF; Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two
consecutive hours and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
%CF; Ability to lift 50+ pounds

The pay for this position is $15 per hour.
