Community Medical Group is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our team in 3520 W 20th Ave, Hialeah, FL 33012.

As a Medical Assistant, you will support our providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will assist with patient intake, obtain vital signs, prepare examination rooms, maintain accurate medical records, and help ensure patients have a positive experience throughout their visit.

Compensation and Schedule

• Starting pay of $20 per hour
• Monday through Friday, from 8am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures
• Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure supplies and equipment are properly stocked
• Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider and permitted by applicable regulations
• Perform basic clinical tasks, including EKGs, laboratory testing, and specimen collection
• Update patient information accurately in the electronic medical record
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, instructions, and follow-up care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Follow all patient privacy, safety, and infection-control requirements
• Support providers and team members with additional patient-care needs as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant diploma or certificate from an accredited program preferred
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred
• Current CPR or Basic Life Support certification preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with electronic medical record systems
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
