Registered Nurse – Emergency Room travel assignment in Lima, Ohio. This 13-week ED opportunity is in a hospital setting and begins August 10, 2026. Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and provide ongoing care for ED patients using age-appropriate criteria
- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; administer medications and treatments; monitor responses
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team; coordinate patient flow and care transitions
- Float to all units within the individual’s skill level as needed and maintain competency across areas
- Educate patients and families; assist with discharge planning and patient teaching
- Document care accurately in the medical record and uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards

Requirements
- Active RN license in Ohio or a Compact state (Nursys active)
- 1+ year ED experience (required)
- Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Ability to float to all units within skill level; able to work in a fast-paced ED environment
- Education: Graduate of an approved RN program; current licensure to practice as an RN
- Scheduling: Available for 7:00 PM–7:30 AM nights; every-other-weekend shifts
- Local policy note: Lima local traveler policy affects rate negotiations per guidelines
- Must maintain all required certifications and active license status throughout the assignment
