A Branch Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overall branch performance. This includes meeting and exceeding budgeted revenue growth, labor efficiency, safety, and branch profitability. A branch Manager will help us fulfill our core purpose of “Deliver Extraordinary Experiences” and will demonstrate our core values: employee centered, customer focused, and champions for the communities we serve.

As a Branch Manager, you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job:

  1. Foster a safety culture through continuous training, tight policy compliance, and accountability to our safety standards.
  2. Deliver extraordinary customer and employee experiences.
  3. Predictably deliver budgeted revenue growth.
  4. Build a great team with the right people in the right seats. Create a high degree of team cohesion and shared support. Invest in the growth of high-performing individuals and create future opportunities for them. Hold underperformers accountable and support them with coaching and training to improve lagging performance.
  5. Prudently manage investments in equipment and expenses to maximize branch profitably.
  6. Lead, manage and hold accountable your customer success professionals on their focus to deepen relationships, exceed retention goals, and actively cross-sell enhancements to improve customer properties and satisfaction.
  7. Lead, manage and hold accountable your operations managers to lead efficient and effective production teams built upon a culture of continuous improvement.
  8. Exhibit a high degree of personal discipline and humble professionalism. Actively mentor your team to emulate similar behaviors and hold all accountable to this expectation.
  9. Assist with strategy, budgeting, and other company initiatives as the opportunity presents. Operate effectively in leadership as part of a dynamic, high growth company.
  10. Follow all company policies and procedures.
  11. Perform any other duties as assigned.

JOB SKILLS AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

As a Branch Manager, you will need to have the following job skills and personal characteristics:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships in a business-to-business setting
  • A creative problem solver with the capacity to innovate
  • Team-oriented with experience managing others
  • Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimal direction
  • A positive attitude and a knack for working in a cooperative team environment

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record to meet fleet insurance standards
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • 10+ years of experience in the industry, including 5+ years of experience in management
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Industry certification a plus
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technology

WORK CONDITIONS

Employees in this position should be able and willing to drive or travel locally as needed. Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends. Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate in snow removal activities. This position will require working outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, sun, extreme cold, or heat.
